OUR STORY
It all started in the early 60's when the increased needs for a proper outfit had passed from Europe to Greece and sur-mesure is now in the life of Greeks. It is the decade when Sotirios Bardakos opens in the center of Piraeus a small studio with sur-mesure men's suit. The clientele begins to be created by him and then well-known world of shipping in the developing Piraeus. Soon, our reputation passes to well-known shipping companies, and thus the idea for the creation of professional clothing is born.
Firstly, the stimuli from trips abroad for the clothing of the workers. Secondly, the needs created through this project, the coming of 1961 brings the flourishing of our involvement in the creation of uniforms for ships. Companies such the Latsis Giannis' company, the municipality of Piraeus, the Municipal Philharmonic, the company Pyrkal, the Hellenic Refineries, and many other companies are among the first that trusted us. And of course always keeping our identity, the company Bardakos continues to keep the sur-mesure for the executives of companies and banks.
Over the years, Adamantia Bardakou was added to the company's staff, who was the one knows so well the women's clothing - and especially the women's sur-mesure - comes to fill the "gap" that existed in other similar clothing companies in the field of professional clothing.
And so our company grows in the Greek market. Clients come like the shipping company Strintzis - which pioneers and agrees with our proposal to change the classic color that prevailed then in shipping from black for winter and white in summer to navy blue for all seasons -, the shipping company Festival , Parnitha casinos, Corfu casino, shipping companies such as New Frontier.
Our course continues upwards, adding to our clientele important collaborations and in this way reaching 1999 comes the 2nd generation of the family.
Andreas Bardakos, who studied in Germany at the Nürnberg Fachschule für das Bekleidungshandwerk in pattern creation and model development, as well as accounting, takes over the helm of the company and a new era begins. Next to him on this trip his sister Jenny Bardakos takes on the role of Development Manager with studies in Business administration at BCA Economic College of Athens and at the National Kapodistrian University of Athens in the departments of Marketing “Communication & customer service" and Shipping “Procurement management ”. Finally, the team is completed with Anna Bardakos with studies in Milan in the field of styling.
More and more names of our domestic and international community are trusting their appearance. Superfast ferries and the subsidiary of Blue Star ferries (which has kept the navy blue color in the uniforms of their crews), Sete Yacht Management with 33 super and mega yachts, Lindos maritime, Privatsea yachting, many private mega yachts, Hilton Athens Hotel, Astir Palace Vouliagmenis SA, Hellenic Seaways SA, Red Sea Management etc., large private schools and companies for which the original idea of sur-mesure was preserved, facing each one with bespoke projects and costume proposals, private collection and presentations for their staff and crews. Our main concern is to make beautiful and special costumes as special as our customers.
Year 2011 establishment of the company SUITORM® with the motto "well-dressed people render better"! 2011 is the year that one of the big bespoke projects for the private super yacht TOPAZ takes place, with creations that really touched the luxury of the boat itself.
Over the years, a special project was that of the tobacco industry Karelia SA, with premium raw materials for clothing, bags and shoes. Also Elixir boutique cruises for their ship Elysium with bespoke creations for the crew's clothing as well as the ship's store.
And the story goes on to reach 2021. 60 years have passed and the course of Suitform makes it one of the few companies in the world that are active in the field of bespoke professional clothing. Together with our specialized team consisting of a fashion designer, a visual merchandiser, and a sales expert, so that we can better meet the needs and expectations of our customers in Greece and abroad.
With innovative ideas in designs and raw materials with a huge collection of fabrics and designs as well as the use of technologies such as that of Patented Polymer Technology SILVADUR ™ which concerns the creation of our new collection "Wellness & Health", we offer prestige, innovation and differentiation in the image of your company.

Suitform® presents five collections: Suitform, Studio, SF'61, Wellness, and Cuisine. Apart from the clothing (bespoke and ready-to-wear), we offer a range of accessories, from scarves, ties, and belts to socks and shoes, to complete the image. Through our collections, we can provide our customers with a lifestyle. Our motto is: Well-dressed people, render better. The goal is to create the most reliable and well-tailored professional attire. We are pursuing this goal for 60 years now, and our returning customers and expanding worldwide clientele are living proof of a job well done.
